Internship - Machine Learning Engineer

The student, under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will be responsible for ML development focusing on improvement for design of product recommender and gap assessment and prediction system. Student will work with data scientist to enhance the existing ML model and capability (text prompt LLM, text to image and image to text retrieval, zero shot image classification) based on CLIP model and similarity for product/package search, recommendation, identify gap assessment (failure images to failure criterion) and risk prediction.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Understand the existing automotive development database
• Implement algorithms and workflow to improve ETL and automation for data pipeline and cleaning
• Work with data scientist to enhance workflow, AI model and develop LLM query and retrieval capability of a recommender based on user desired attributes (text or image) with risk prediction and generated report/content with required dataset
• Explore concept development of CLIP model for image to text similarity and for zero-shot image classification to recommend similar product, chip or package design, and identify failure/defect
• Explore development agentic AI concept to improve business work flow process and productivity

• Develop the skills in ML development process and R&D process/application
• Greater understanding in AI recommendation system and risk prediction model
• Understanding of automotive semiconductor R&D processes
• Teamwork in MNC cultures and working with data scientist

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Strong software development or programming competency with special interest and knowledge/skills in python, ML/DL machine learning or AI
• Team player
• Curious and think out of the box
