DevOps Engineer – Azure – 12 Months Salaried – Dublin City

My client, a leader in Financial Advisory Services requires an Azure DevOps Engineer for a twelve month period on a fixed term, salaried (with benefits) basis to join their existing Platform team and execute cloud based projects.

The role will suit a candidate at junior to mid level, with up to five years of commercial, post grad experience who is extremely comfortable in the Azure environment, preferably with certifications.

Note: the role will require attendance at the Dublin City office three days per week.

The Role

• Work on existing CI/CD pipelining projects as well as monitoring and addressing various issues as they arise
• Liaise with Software Development to understand processes and maintain/improve performance
• Develop internal relationships with Platform, QA and Development plus third parties
• Escalate issues as they arise, tracking each and ensuring follow up

Role Requirements

• Engineering degree and three to five years of commercial DevOps (Azure) experience
• Certifications in Azure welcome, but knowledge of Kubernetes and various services
• Scripting in Bash/Python etc required
• Infrastructure experience with a keen eye for security
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken
