Job Description:

Essential duties:

• Design, implement, and manage complex Cisco network solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of wireless networks to support seamless connectivity across the organization.
• Manage and secure network firewalls to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Lead network architecture planning and design initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements, especially during M&A activities.
• Integrate and standardize network infrastructures during mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless connectivity and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network performance and security.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network technologies, with a focus on Palo Alto SD-WAN.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
• Proven experience with wireless network solutions and firewall management.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto SD-WAN technologies is highly preferred.
• Experience in network integration and standardization during M&A activities.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
