Network Designer

Job Title: Network Designer – Juniper SD-WAN (SSR) | Cloud Integration (AWS & Azure)

📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

📅 Duration: Freelance Contract (Long-term mission)

Project Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Network Designer to support the migration from a traditional Juniper-based Hub & Spoke network to a modern Juniper SD-WAN network using Session Smart Routers (SSR). You will collaborate with the architecture and design teams to translate high-level architecture into detailed, validated network designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level architectural designs into detailed network designs.
• Collaborate closely with 2 other Network Designers and the Architecture Team.
• Validate design concepts in a Design Testbed environment.
• Draft comprehensive Detailed Design Documents (DDD).
• Provide technical support to qualification and operations teams during testing and deployment.
• Ensure seamless integration with cloud infrastructures (AWS & Azure).

Required Skills & Experience:

Networking:

• 6+ years of experience with Juniper SSR devices
• Deep knowledge of Juniper SD-WAN (Session Smart Routing)
• Experience with Hub & Spoke architecture migration

Cloud Technologies:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure

General:

• Proven experience with network testing in design environments
• Ability to document and explain complex technical designs clearly
• High-level design and project coordination capabilities
