Senior Data Analyst

Pricing Intelligence is a crucial part of the Pricing Domain, consisting of Data Scientists and Data Analysts who focus on pricing insights and pricing algorithms. These areas are covered by the Pricing Data Insights and Pricing Logic teams, respectively. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between data and business decisions. This is a newly created position designed to address cross-functional business challenges, enhance analytical capabilities, and proactively drive insights that support strategic decision-making. Unlike traditional Data Analysts assigned to specific teams, you will have a holistic view of the business, enabling you to identify opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a cross-functional data expert, providing insights beyond individual teams and value streams.
• Analyse trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and SQL queries for efficient data analysis.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and optimize current production logic solutions.
• Address urgent, ad-hoc business requests that require quick analytical turnaround.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Business Data Analyst, Product Data Analyst, or Senior Data Analyst role.
• Industry Knowledge: Background in pricing analytics, e-commerce, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Analytical Thinking: Highly proactive and capable of thinking outside the box to identify opportunities and solve business problems.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations, allowing you to see the bigger picture beyond individual teams.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to manage urgent ad-hoc requests efficiently while balancing long-term analytical projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data modelling and ETL processes, especially using Airflow.
• Basic proficiency in Python is a plus.
• Exposure to A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
