Your new role
- Review, consolidate and modernise the HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the relevant award and public sector employment legislation.
- Prepare high-quality HR policies and procedures, liaise, communicate and consult with key stakeholders to secure their engagement on policy reviews and updates.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of payroll and HR transactions to identify process improvements and design efficient workflows focused on HR service delivery.
- Develop a project management plan including milestones, task scheduling, accountabilities, timelines and resourcing to review and implement recommendations from the Aurion payroll / HRIS health check reports, including reporting and evaluation of project deliverables.
- Re-design and update the supporting HR infrastructure including practices, forms, templates and workflows.
- Re-design HR reporting to achieve maximum HRIS efficiencies, drawing on data analytics to identify trends and provide insights that support informed decision making in workforce management and planning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end policy reviews and adoption strategies, including researching public policy developments and best practice policy lifecycle management to monitor and evaluate policy effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll administration using Aurion (or other HRIS) and ensuring system compliance with Award, legislative and HR policy frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives with well-developed high-tech, analytical and problem-solving skills that enable technological solutions to streamline HR practices.
- Ability to manage multiple HR related projects and balance the needs of competing demands within a high work volume environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to consult effectively with key stakeholders, including directors, management, employees and external suppliers, including payroll specialists.
