Staff Backend Engineer

We’re Hiring: Staff Backend Engineer
Location: Onsite – Abu Dhabi
Experience: 7 to 9 years

We’re on the hunt for a Staff Backend Engineer who can architect, build, and scale backend systems that power real-world products. This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise, a builder’s mindset, and a passion for writing clean, scalable code.

What You’ll Do:

Design and implement robust, high-performance backend services

Own end-to-end backend architecture and drive technical excellence

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, DevOps)

Mentor engineers and guide system design decisions

Ensure code quality through code reviews and best practices


You Should Have:

7–9 years of backend engineering experience

Mastery in one or more backend languages (Node.js, Python, Go, or Java)

Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API design, and databases

Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

A track record of building scalable systems in fast-paced environments


Nice to Have:

Experience with microservices architecture

CI/CD and containerization know-how (Docker, Kubernetes)

Interest in system design and architecture leadership
