Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Project Lead (EMS and Production):

• Oversee the development of the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) portfolio and guide the local team through make-or-buy assessments.
• Act as a connector between R&D, engineering, production, supply chain, and EMS partners to ensure alignment from concept to commercialisation.
• Lead project planning and execution throughout the full product lifecycle-from manufacturing preparation and ramp-up to optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Manage phase-in/phase-out initiatives and improvements to quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) metrics within the local production environment and Advise on 'make or buy' decisions
• Build strong working relationships with global and local stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met within scope, budget, and time.
• Prepare clear project documentation, risk assessments, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure ongoing project transparency through regular status reporting and progress updates.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Project Lead (EMS and Production) should have:

• A strong educational background in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills,comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams across departments such as R&D, quality and engineering.
• Prior experience with EMS suppliers and electronic component manufacturing, including SMT and PCB processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
• Experience in an 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 is a must
• Availability to travel to the site location in North Braband
