The Role

We’re seeking a talented Platform Network Expert to lead the design and management of our on-premise and cloud network infrastructure, focusing on high availability, security, and performance.

In this role, you’ll utilize your expertise in network architecture, firewalls (Azure, Checkpoint), and hybrid cloud solutions (Azure, Oracle). You’ll also handle large-scale migrations, upgrades, and security enhancements, ensuring smooth operations for complex applications.

Your responsibilities include integrating on-premise infrastructure with cloud services and aligning our global network with Nespresso’s business goals. If you’re passionate about network infrastructure and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!

In This Role, You Will:

• Configure and troubleshoot Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and Azure firewalls, managing traffic routing, peering, and cloud-specific network security.
• Be experienced with OCI, including VCN setup, FastConnect, Dynamic Routing Gateway, and cross-cloud connectivity.
• Manage firewalls in a hybrid environment (Azure and Checkpoint) and understand network security protocols.
• Maintain on-premise networks with knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP), and load balancers.
• Lead major projects like network upgrades, cloud migrations, and automation.
• Diagnose connectivity issues using tools such as Wireshark and Azure Traffic Analytics, providing root cause analysis, and document network topologies and changes through HLD/LLD.

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

• Knowledge and experience with network automation using Ansible, Python.
• Previous experience working in cross functional global teams.
• Relevant industry recognized certifications in routing, switching, cyber security and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
