Golang Developer - Cloud & Infrastructure (Contract)
Limerick (Hybrid)
Initial contract until end of this year with high change of being extended long term
Rate : €55-€60 per hour

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join their technology services team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a global inspection and verification platform deployed to the cloud using Azure and Kubernetes, with front-end development powered by Mendix (low-code platform).
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design and maintain infrastructure tooling and services using Go (Golang)
• 
  Develop integrations with multiple services and manage messaging workflows (RabbitMQ)
• 
  Automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment
• 
  Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
• 
  Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• 
  Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards

Required Experience:

• 
  4-5 years of software development experience, ideally with Golang
• 
  Strong cloud experience, particularly with Azure and AKS
• 
  Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD
• 
  Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
• 
  Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and modern DevOps practices
