About the Role:

My Client in the financial sector is seeking a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design and implementation of modern DevOps practices. This role focuses on cloud adoption, automation, system resilience, and secure, scalable software delivery across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineering teams to enhance CI/CD, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Contribute to internal DevOps initiatives and strategic platform improvements.
• Advocate for streamlined, robust software delivery pipelines.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience:

• AWS
• Kubernetes (core focus)
• Terraform & Ansible
• Platform engineering background preferred
• Financial services experience ideal
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is essential

Preferred Experience:

• In-depth infrastructure knowledge, including virtualized environments and SSL management.
• Experience building and automating infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Background in test-first development and managing configuration tools at scale (e.g., Ansible Tower, Chef Server).
