Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and React.js to join our dynamic product development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable web applications and product development life cycles. You should be comfortable working across both front-end and back-end, with a strong understanding of system design, APIs, and best development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Node.js (back-end) and React.js (front-end).
• Product Development: Work closely with the product team to understand user requirements, and contribute to planning, design, and implementation of product features.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices for software development (code reviews, unit testing, and version control).
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality products.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues as they arise.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and advocate for improvements in processes and tools.
• Agile Practices: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Node.js and React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Proficient understanding of database technologies, such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and debugging tools.
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Ability to translate product requirements into technical specifications and scalable architecture.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
• Prior experience working in a product development team, understanding end-to-end product lifecycles.
