Retail Project Manager

Jw Turner Contracting LLC, an affiliate of Paris Group, is an in-house provider of high-quality fit-out and maintenance services, specializing in retail and hospitality projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Project Manager-Site Management with a strong background in the fit-out industry to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As Retail Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of fit-out projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent client relationships. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in managing fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and developing the project idea to define the concept and create a process to bring it to fruition, including setting and managing management expectations, developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project, and assigning team members to specific tasks.
• Discussing the final design approved by the management with the design architects and understand all its aspects and expectations.
• Taking the lead in planning and analyzing specifications to provide clear, pursuable, and coordinated interpretation of the design/drawings for the execution of all company projects and coordinate with the execution team.
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, monitoring the project stage of completion, making reports, and sending them to management.
• Following and making sure to get all the government approvals for all the projects.
• Reporting project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalating issues according to the project work plan
• Arranging the decoration and finishing material.
• Monitoring troubleshooting and timely completion of the projects stage-wise as per the plan.
• Organizing and following up on the job, creating an accurate timeline of project completion to ensure tasks are finished within the confines of the assignment and being aware of how the project is progressing.
• Developing and maintaining a project status that tracks overall progress and achievement of set milestones as per plan.
• Ensuring all quality tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented according to the approved procedures.
• Serving as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
• Reporting to the management with a detailed report in case the project is delayed explaining the response and the cost of this delay.
• Handling, dealing with, and assisting in resolving all the issues with all external contractors and third-party service providers and suppliers.
• Performing other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Qatar experience in project management, with solid site management experience in delivering high-value fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of fit-out processes, construction methodologies, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore), budgeting tools, local building codes and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Excellent ability to identify potential issues and resolve them efficiently to keep projects on track.
• PMP (Project Management Professional), or similar project management certifications are preferred.
