Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out to lead the successful delivery of interior fit-out projects from project award through final handover.

The ideal candidate must possess strong project management and construction management expertise, with proven experience managing fit-out projects, site execution teams, procurement activities, subcontractors, and installation operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Installation Teams while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a proactive leader with excellent planning, coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities who can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Lead and manage all phases of fit-out projects from planning through execution and final handover.
• Directly supervise and manage Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, Installation Teams, subcontractors, and project resources.
• Develop detailed project schedules, execution plans, manpower plans, and resource allocation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays, risks, and execution challenges.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications, project scope, and technical requirements prior to execution.
• Manage procurement schedules, logistics, material delivery, and installation activities to support project milestones.
• Oversee site operations and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct regular project meetings and site inspections to monitor performance and progress.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, variation orders, and resource utilization.
• Ensure effective communication between design, procurement, manufacturing, and site teams.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead quality inspections, snagging activities, testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in fit-out, interior contracting, or project management.
• Proven experience managing high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail fit-out projects.
• Strong construction management knowledge, including project planning, scheduling, procurement, logistics, resource management, and site execution.
• Demonstrated experience leading Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Installation Teams.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out works, joinery, custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, aluminum works, glazing, and finishing trades.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
