The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to work closely with business users and SMEs to understand their needs and build in engagement and ownership of solutions, inspiring innovative thinking and problem solving. Working closely with the Product Owner, the Product Manager will bring alignment across teams to ensure quality outcomes across product management functions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the management and delivery of complex and sensitive projects
• Assume responsibility for project outcomes of strategic or operational significance
• Establish an maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Engage with stakeholders to identify, conceptualize and validate solutions
• Provide expert advice and support to the Product Owner

Skills and Experience

• Significant knowledge of agile project management principles and practices
• Ability to develop and test concepts and prototypes to validate solutions
• Strong project management skills
• Experience applying design thinking principles to complex problem resolution
• Ability to manage and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with Design Thinking and User Centric Design principles

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and either hold or be eligible to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
