Technical Product Manager
Data Analytics Platform
6 Month Contract, Hybrid, Dublin
About the Company
My client is a global leader in information and technology-enabled health services, dedicated to modernising healthcare systems and improving lives across communities worldwide. Operating across 150 countries, they serve every dimension of the health ecosystem, from those who diagnose and treat patients, to those who fund care, deliver health services, and develop the cures of tomorrow.
This is an organisation where technology genuinely matters. The work you do here has a direct line to better patient outcomes, more efficient health systems, and smarter decisions across the global healthcare landscape.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, end-to-end product ownership role at the heart of a data-intensive B2B analytics platform that aggregates and surfaces insights across multiple lines of business.
As Technical Product Manager, you will own the full product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through to roadmap delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication. You will work at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, partnering directly with a Technical Lead and Business Manager to shape what gets built, why, and when.
This is not a coordination role. It requires genuine technical fluency, strong data instincts, and the ability to translate complex analytical requirements into clear, deliverable product goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership
- Own and evolve the product roadmap, defining the development timeline and prioritising milestones that deliver measurable business value
- Manage and maintain a healthy, well-refined product backlog; ensuring the engineering team is always working on what matters most
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the product, from initial discovery through to release and iteration
- Work closely with the Business Manager to gather requirements, lead discovery sessions, and translate business needs into clear user stories
Technical Leadership
- Partner with the Technical Lead to navigate architectural decisions, technical constraints, and delivery trade-offs
- Understand and engage with the underlying data infrastructure; SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and notebook-based workflows are central to this product environment
- Ensure the product meets technical, security, and regulatory standards throughout its lifecycle
- Stay current with technology trends and bring relevant insight into product planning
Agile Delivery
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies; sprint planning, backlog refinement, story acceptance, progress tracking, and retrospectives
- Champion Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the product team
- Monitor and report on sprint performance and product health using data
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between the technology team and business stakeholders
- Communicate roadmap progress, delivery status, and risks clearly and consistently to all relevant parties
- Gather, synthesise, and act on stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the product
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define and track KPIs that measure product success and inform prioritisation
- Use data and analytics to drive product decisions; not instinct alone
- Establish reporting frameworks that give stakeholders visibility into product performance
Risk and Quality
- Identify and actively manage risks throughout the development process
- Ensure QA processes are embedded into delivery, not bolted on at the end
- Take ownership of issue resolution across both technical and customer-facing problems
Key Requirements:
Essential
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or Senior Product Owner in a data-heavy product environment
- Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics products; experience working with SQL, Databricks, or Snowflake is highly relevant
- Experience writing and refining user stories and working directly with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical delivery; comfortable in both conversations
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging business and technical audiences simultaneously
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking product KPIs
- Excellent communication and prioritisation skills
Highly Advantageous
- Hands-on familiarity with notebook-based workflows; Jupyter, Databricks Notebooks, or equivalent
- Experience with B2B analytics or data products serving multiple lines of business
- Background in or exposure to healthcare, health IT, or regulated data environments
- Experience with AI or machine learning-adjacent product features
Remuneration:
A competitive daily rate on offer for an experienced candidate.
