Principal Solutions Architect

This role focuses on the design, management, deployment, and The ideal candidate will have practical experience with container orchestration, enhancement of containerized applications and cloud-native infrastructure using the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and other Kubernetes-based systems, building CI/CD pipelines, a deep understanding of DevOps practices, and familiarity with AI platforms and principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture of scalable, secure, cost-effective, and easily available solutions.
• Use Red Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based platforms to, design, implement, and maintain container orchestration environments.
• Oversee, scale, fine-tune, and monitor containerized applications and microservices across hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Automate the provisioning and deployment of infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools.
• Closely work with various engineers and developers to design and optimize applications for containerization and cloud-native deployment.
• Establish best practices for ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and security within containerized environments.
• Keep track of the latest developments, features, and updates in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 5+ years' of experience with containerized infrastructure, visualization, and hybrid cloud.
• 3+ years' of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of linux systems administration and Linux based environments.
• Advanced knowledge of container technologies (Docker, CRI-O)
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and their Kubernetes service offerings (EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Strong experience with Grafana, Istio, Helm, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipeline and tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc.
• Knowledge of best security practices for Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters. (encryption, etc.)
