Job Overview

The Head of Commercial will be responsible for the overall commercial strategy, focusing on driving revenue growth, user acquisition, and strategic partnerships. You’ll lead and build our commercial team, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to identify and seize new market opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Commercial Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive initiatives to increase user base, trading volumes, and overall revenue, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Partnership Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships, including payment processors, banks, and other exchanges, to expand our ecosystem and improve service offerings.
  • Market Expansion: Lead initiatives to enter new markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adapting the commercial approach to fit local markets.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing commercial team, providing guidance on sales, customer support, and account management strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Use data to assess the effectiveness of strategies, set KPIs, and make informed decisions that drive continuous improvement in commercial activities.
  • Brand Positioning: Work closely with marketing to ensure cohesive messaging and brand positioning, elevating the company’s market presence.


Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years in a commercial leadership role, ideally in a tech, fintech, or crypto environment, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and scaling commercial teams.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain landscape, including familiarity with trading, digital assets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to create and implement a commercial strategy that aligns with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Leadership: Strong team leadership and management skills, with experience building and mentoring teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to analyze market trends and user behavior.
  • Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in international markets
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with regulations affecting digital asset exchanges and trading platforms
