Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Go or Python)

Our client, a fast-growing fintech company operating in the stock and crypto markets, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale core systems for clearing and settlement.

You'll work on high-volume, event-driven systems where reliability, performance, and scale are critical. Ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, building from scratch, and solving real infrastructure challenges.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build backend services in Go/Python
• Work on self-clearing systems for equities and crypto
• Improve reliability, scalability, and system architecture
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the platform
• Own features from design to deployment
• Contribute to code quality, testing, and reviews

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years building scalable systems and microservices
• Strong coding skills in Go or Python
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure or similar), Kubernetes, PostgreSQL
• Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architecture
