Embedded AI/ML Engineer – Smart Industrial Predictive Maintenance

Linz, Austria | Full-time | On-site | 5+ years of experience

We’re looking for an experienced Embedded AI/ML Engineer to join a high-tech industrial company in Linz. In this role, you will develop and optimize real-time predictive maintenance algorithms running on edge devices within industrial environments. Your work will directly support operational efficiency and equipment reliability through smart, on-device intelligence.

Must have:

• Hands-on experience with TinyML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Lite for Microcontrollers, Edge Impulse)
• Expertise in embedded anomaly detection and time-series analysis
• Skills in on-device data compression and local model training
• Strong C/C++ development skills for embedded systems with RTOS (Zephyr preferred)
• Experience integrating with industrial communication protocols (Modbus/TCP, OPC UA)

Additional skills:

• Familiarity with signal processing for mechanical systems
• Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques in embedded environments
• Experience deploying models on resource-constrained MCUs
• Understanding of real-time constraints in industrial applications
