Headquarters of the Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialized professionals, integrated into projects with several internationally renowned clients.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Process & Documentation

  • Manage the onboarding process for permanent and external employees for UK/FR
  • Recruitment plan monitoring: Provide to senior management status ongoing recruitment plan

Governance And Controls

  • Monitor/control contractors' rate increases, conversions, and validations for UK/FR and liase with Region to get oversight
  • Support the preparation of the Techboard and HR & Sourcing committees.
  • Contribute to Efficiency Steerco on sourcing initiatives (Conversions, Grads, Juniorisation, etc)

Coordination

  • Prepare and compile onboarding requests, ensuring all necessary data is available for the weekly Onboarding Committee.
  • Support the administration and supplier relationship of client’s platform

Projects

  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Assist with the monitoring and coordination of talent initiatives (ex Juniorisation incl graduates, trainees and apprentices) :
  • Act as the proximity project lead for the nearshoring hub in Portugal, collaborating with local management, HR, and functions

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management, onboarding processes, and talent coordination, Headcount monitoring
  • Experience in process improvement and automation with an Agile methodology is a plus.
  • O365 suite including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBi
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT and HR functions.

Language Skills

  • Good written and spoken English

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross functional teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills, accurate and aware of the big picture whilst paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and senior management.

Additional Information

The work model is hybrid (2x per week) but on-site presence is required at the office during the initial months.
