Our overall goal is to implement good security practices throughout the existing tooling and also to create security that lasts focusing on end result established in other (more agile) industries, in an integrated manner (partnering with both ICT operations and information security teams) and getting the most out of the available toolset. Our ambition is to become reference points in our area of security expertise for the Romanian banking sector.

Main responsibilities:

• Implementation and continuous improvement of filtering policies enforced by the XDR or automations needed in the SOAR, managed by the IT Security Operations team. Involves being up to date with threats and attack vectors. Requires swift response to prevent/deter attacks while maintaining business systems availability.
• Manage the security systems in scope either directly (whole stack of technical solution layer) or with the help of other system administration teams (specialized teams in: hardware, virtualization, operating systems etc.).
• Involvement in Change Management process to accommodate changes in filtering policies for the IT security tools within the portfolio managed by the team, in line with requirements.
• When needed, involvement in Incident Management processes to troubleshoot availability issues and provide support to other teams in the Bank in charge with Security Incident Response (analyzing relevant data available in the portfolio of tools managed by the team).
• In case of SOAR, builds automation needed within the team or 3rd party security teams and maintains them based on own monitoring and feedback from other security teams (e.g. from SOC);
• In case of XDR, manage security policies (update, accommodate exceptions, sync in line with changes in organization) and also maintains solution deployment (solving agent deployment or update issues).

Requirements and expectations:

• Knowledge of and experience in endpoint security or SOAR administration and engineering. Proficiency in programming and scripting is highly valued.
• Graduating a university in a technical field: computer science, automated control, electronics, telecommunications, cybernetics or related.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in information systems security or information technology.
• Previous experience in security platform administration and security operations engineering is a plus.
• International certifications in information systems and/or security is a plus (vendor related or international organizations - CCNA, CISSP, CCSP, CEH, Security+ etc.).
• Previous experience in Banking or in other financial services is a plus.
• Integrity, responsibility and professionalism.
• Eager to continuously learn and to keep up to date with trends in information security.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility and agility to support business operations by accommodating changing priorities.
• Self-organized and results driven.
• Proficient in English.
