DevOps Engineer (m/f)

Experis IT Luxembourg is looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain and improve our container orchestration platforms based on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Ensure the smooth operation of our internal development pipelines and tooling.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application delivery automation.
• Implement and enhance continuous integration and delivery workflows.
• Contribute to the security and hardening of infrastructure environments.
• Manage lifecycle operations and compliance for container clusters.
• Administer core DevOps tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, and Xray.
• Assist teams in onboarding new projects and aligning with infrastructure standards.
• Provide support during incidents related to orchestration, access control, and API management tools.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
• Automate deployment procedures and infrastructure configuration tasks.
• Participate in strategic initiatives around observability, tracing, and monitoring integration.
• Support the rollout of security testing tools and vulnerability scanning processes.
• Help improve software delivery processes through pipeline optimization and automation.
• Research and deploy solutions for secure secret management using tools like Vault.

Your profile

• Degree in IT or any related field.
• Solid experience in managing and administering Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, especially GitLab and GitLab-CI.
• Strong background in programming, preferably in Java; knowledge of JavaScript or other languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Jaeger, ELK, and Grafana.
• Understanding of API design, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT), and access control systems like Keycloak or RedHat SSO.
• Good knowledge of networking principles, including firewalls, WAFs, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with containerization technologies including Docker and Podman.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible is an advantage.
• Awareness of DevSecOps principles and secure development best practices.
• French fluency required. Good level in English as well.
• Autonomous, well-organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and support team knowledge sharing.
