Job Summary

Keyrus is looking for a Machine Learning Officer to support the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions within our organisation. This role involves working closely with data scientists, developers, and operational teams to deliver scalable, data-driven applications.

This position is a Hybrid role - you can be based in Lisbon or Porto.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions
• Collect, label, and process data; set up and train models; evaluate and test outcomes
• Modify and support internal applications in collaboration with data scientists and developers
• Work directly with clients throughout the application lifecycle
• Propose optimal technical approaches aligned with business needs
• Apply industry best practices to scale solutions to production-level software
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of ML/AI models
• Contribute to promoting a data-driven culture within the organisation
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies
  
  

Requirements For The Role

• + 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to explain and interpret model results and drivers
• Solid foundation in statistical and quantitative analysis (e.g., ML models, Bayesian methods, time series)
• Experience with at least one ML framework (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras)
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques
• Programming proficiency in Python, R, Java, or Go
• Knowledge of databases and tools (SQL, NoSQL)
• Understanding of deep learning architectures and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
