Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator

Pauwels Consulting
Belgium · Full-time · Associate

As our L&D Coordinator, you’re the go-to person when it comes to all things learning. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external training partners to ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently – and with purpose.

  • Coordination: you organize and manage day-to-day L&D activities in collaboration with partners and colleagues.
  • Follow-up: you keep track of which trainings are being taken and support the HR team in planning and admin.
  • Advisory: you help managers and employees choose the right learning formats – from coaching to workshops.
  • Analysis: you identify learning needs, evaluate our current offer, and suggest improvements.
  • Project work: you lead projects related to L&D, knowledge sharing, and content creation.
  • Market research: you scout the market for the right training partners, negotiate contracts, and keep an eye on budgets.
  • Program development: you further shape and grow our internal initiatives like the Pauwels Academy, Acceleration Program, and Welcome Events.
  • Feedback: you set up satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and turn feedback into action.
  • Budget management: you monitor the L&D budget, keep everything on track, and report to the HR Director.

What are we looking for?

  • You have 2 to 4 years of experience in Learning & Development or a generalist HR position like HRBP, HR Officer or HR Consultant.
  • Experience in project sourcing or consulting? That’s a nice bonus.
  • You’re a strong communicator, a good listener, and networking comes naturally to you.
  • You love analyzing, planning, and bringing structure – even when things get busy.
  • You have a way with words and know how to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Excel and digital tools hold no secrets for you (ideally at an advanced level).
  • You work independently, think ahead, and take ownership of your tasks.
  • You enjoy a mix of hands-on operational work and project-based assignments.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently, preferably French as well.

What do we offer?

  • A competitive salary package: You’ll receive a fair, market-based salary with a solid range of extra benefits: meal and eco vouchers, group and hospital insurance, a phone budget with subscription, and 12 additional ADV leave days on top of your standard holidays.
  • Learning & development (of course!): You’ll work in an environment where learning is truly part of the culture. From a strong onboarding process to continuous skill development – we’ll support your growth every step of the way.
  • A people-first culture: We’re a warm, down-to-earth company where you’re more than just an employee. You’ll have the freedom to take initiative, share your ideas, and genuinely make a difference. Flat hierarchy, open communication, and a sense of humor included.
  • Team connection & fun: We like to bring people together – not just for work. Think afterwork drinks, family days, New Year parties, and our legendary teambuilding trip every year.
  • Hybrid flexibility: You’ll work from one of our easily accessible offices in Ghent or Antwerp-Berchem, with the option to work from home up to two days a week once you’ve settled into the role.
