Senior HR Generalist

We’re partnering with a Kildare-based company on a fully managed recruitment campaign to appoint a Senior HR Generalist to lead operational HR delivery and support business-wide people initiatives.

Role Summary

This is a varied, practical HR role covering the full employee lifecycle. It’s well-suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously while staying connected to a collaborative leadership team. You'll play a key role in day-to-day HR delivery, with scope to influence people practices across the business.

About the Company & HR Dept

The company operates within the FMCG and production sector and employs approximately 140 people. As Senior HR Generalist, you’ll report into senior management and work closely with functional leads across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring smooth processes across the full employee lifecycle
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding activities in partnership with hiring managers
• Provide practical HR guidance to team leads across Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and other functions
• Coordinate performance reviews and support ongoing workforce planning initiatives
• Handle employee relations matters confidently, with external support available when required
• Maintain up-to-date policies, HR documentation, and compliance with employment legislation
• Contribute to employee engagement activities and help sustain a positive workplace culture

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
• Comfortable working independently and advising senior stakeholdersders
• Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice
• A confident, approachable style with a genuine focus on people
• Team-oriented mindset — comfortable rolling up your sleeves and supporting wherever needed
• Comfortable working independently and advising senior stakeholders

What’s On Offer

• Salary: €55,000 – €60,000 plus benefits
• Location: Co. Kildare
• Hybrid model: 3 days onsite per week
• Permanent, full-time role
