The Role
We are seeking a passionate Android Software Developer to join our dynamic Security and Network team. In this role, you will be an integral member of a scrum team within the Entertainment and Connected Services division. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a global environment, designing and building new features and applications that prioritize performance, quality, and security for our customers across various brands.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an Android Developer who is sociable, trustworthy, and committed. You should be able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly, drive change, and have a passion for innovation and new technologies. The Role
We are seeking a passionate Android Software Developer to join our dynamic Security and Network team. In this role, you will be an integral member of a scrum team within the Entertainment and Connected Services division. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software code using established design patterns and architecture.
- Collaborate with the development team, agile product owner, and design team to create features and stories.
- Participate in testing code through both automated and manual methods.
- Engage in code reviews following established guidelines.
- Stay updated on new technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Contribute to the success of the scrum team and Agile Release Train through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on the architecture definition of the software your team is responsible for.
We are looking for an Android Developer who is sociable, trustworthy, and committed. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android development.
- Good understanding of the Android service and activity lifecycle.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Mockito, Mockk, and Robolectric and automated testing.
- Knowledge of Android security mechanisms, including SELinux and firewalls.
