Data Scientist

QuantWiFi is looking for exceptionally talented individuals and offers you the chance to join the Analytics Team, based in Istanbul, which delivers global solutions to all telecommunications companies.

The ideal candidate's favorite words are learning, data, scale, and agility. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, and structuring for downstream processing
• Perform statistical analysis and/or data mining methods to discover hidden patterns and relations in data to answer business questions
• Develop and deploy ML models and pipelines that scale to create business value
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
• Collaborate with the engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
• Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
• Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning, clustering, and classification techniques, and algorithms
• Fluency in the Python programming language and data science toolkits
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras)
• Knowledge about developing and deploying machine learning applications and tools.
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
• Experience with developing and deploying machine learning applications and tools
• Work experience with recommender systems
• Work experience with DL
• Familiarity with working with big data
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of GO, C, and C++ programming languages
• Effective communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to handle multiple projects and challenging deadlines,
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Other Requirements

• Ability to work in international teams.
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
• No restrictions on international travel
• Only candidates living or able to move to the Asian side of Istanbul will be evaluated.
