Network Engineer

Job Details:

Position: Network Engineer (On-site)

Working Days: 5 days in a week

Work Model: Hybrid

• On-Site: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Work From Home: Tuesday, Thursday

Shift Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM SGT

Contract duration: 1 year (extendable)

Contract Type: Freelance / B2B contract

Experience Required: More than 4 years as IT Support.

Site Address: Singapore. (On-Site)

Languages required: English (B2 to C1)

CCNA Certification or equivalent Level 2 Network certification.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide first-line support for incidents and service requests in alignment with SLAs.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve low-complexity technical issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to higher-level support teams when necessary.
• Contribute to project work as needed to support team objectives.
• Installation, Addition, Change, Move
• Activities performed in customer’s sites;
• Includes Technical site survey, Wifi passive site survey, Site preparation, Staging
• Installation, support on migration, and Day 1 onsite support.
• Installation involving rack/stack, and input of basic configurations for remote access.
• Equipment include routers, LAN switches, Wireless LAN, firewall, etc.
• Brand/Manufacturer include CISCO, Meraki, Huawei, Palo Alto, Aruba, Fortinet, UPS, Microsoft, etc.

Maintenance:

• Provide on-call services on the company support call
• On-standby support with SLA 7*24*4.
• Replacing any field replaceable units required and returning the equipment to normal operational condition;
• Installing requested engineering changes, or any required software.
• Re-packing of returning equipment for RMA return.
