IT Security Engineer

PAM Engineer

We are seeking a talented Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to join our platform security engineering team. The PAM Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing PAM solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage PAM solutions to control and monitor privileged access across the organization.
Onboard accounts, infrastructure, and applications from various platforms into the PAM solution.
Configure access control policies for credentials, session management, and session recording.
Integrate PAM solutions with existing identity and access management (IAM) systems and other security tools.
Support projects by deploying PAM processes and integration, documenting, and executing engineering tasks.
Carry out engineering responsibilities such as configurations, setting up policies, creating reports, platform upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PAM solutions into existing systems while meeting security and compliance requirements.
Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on PAM best practices and usage.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in privileged access management or related security roles.

Technical Skills

Understanding of PAM concepts and technologies.
Experience with PAM tools and IAM processes.
Familiarity with on-prem and cloud security best practices.
Experience with scripting and automation tools.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in PAM or security are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (as a Plus)

Deep understanding of PAM concepts such as JIT PAM, credentials management, credential-less session management & session recording, password vaulting, and access certification.
Proficiency in PAM tools like Saviynt CPAM, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic.
Experience in discovery and end-to-end onboarding processes for infrastructure such as accounts, servers, databases, web consoles, portals, and infra-applications.
Knowledge of platforms/tools like Python, PowerShell, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, HashiCorp Vault.
