Position: Senior Full Stack Java Developer (EN + FR/NL)

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Remote Work Possibility: Hybrid Setting

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably

Mandatory Languages: English (C1 minimum) - French or Dutch (B2 minimum)

Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in backend and frontend development, particularly in Java and Angular ecosystems.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Java Development & Bug Fixing – 10+ years
  • Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Security) – 10+ years
  • RESTful APIs / Kafka / RabbitMQ – 10+ years
  • TDD / DDD – 10+ years
  • CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory) – 10+ years
  • Hibernate / JPA (v3) – 10+ years
  • SQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) – 10+ years
  • Microservices with Spring Boot – 5+ years
  • OpenShift / Kubernetes (CKAD certified) – 5+ years
  • Grafana & ELK Stack – 5+ years
  • DevOps principles – 5+ years
  • Java 21+ – 2+ years
  • PrimeNG – 2+ years
  • Angular Mono-Repo – 2+ years
  • Figma – 2+ years
  • Angular (v19) – at least one project
  • RX-JS Signals – at least one project
  • LeSS Agile framework – at least one project


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Java 21+
  • Implement secure and scalable microservices with Spring Boot
  • Build and enhance front-end applications using Angular (v19+)
  • Collaborate in Agile teams using LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum)
  • Apply best practices like TDD, DDD, and CI/CD in daily development
  • Work with RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and log management tools (ELK Stack, FluentD)
  • Contribute to UI/UX implementation using PrimeNG, RX-JS Signals, and Figma
  • Operate in a DevOps environment, managing deployments with Kubernetes (CKAD certified) and OpenShift


Languages

  • English – C1 level (mandatory)
  • French or Dutch – C1 level (mandatory)
