Business Analyst

In this role, you will deliver actionable, data-driven insights that inform real-time decision-making and long-term strategy. You’ll partner with cross-functional leaders, leverage cutting-edge AI and analytics tools, and help TELUS advance its mission of making AI more accessible, reliable, and impactful.

What you will do daily:

• Analytics & Visualization: Design and maintain dashboards and reports that simplify complex data, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders across Product, Operations, and Engineering to understand their needs and ensure they have seamless access to critical insights.
• Data Quality & Consistency: Collect, validate, and standardize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines.
• Performance Measurement: Define and monitor KPIs, track performance trends, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize business outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, tools, and workflows; implement AI-driven analytics solutions to reduce time-to-insights.
• Issue Resolution & Compliance: Proactively address data quality concerns, investigate root causes, and ensure compliance with evolving business rules and procedures.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

What you need on a daily basis:

• Proficiency in data modeling, warehousing, and statistical analysis
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI) and AI-powered analytics platforms
• Skilled at integrating diverse data sources and ensuring data reliability
• Ability to identify patterns, trends, and root causes within large datasets
• Familiarity with collaborating closely with engineering and product teams

What are your qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Demonstrated success in using data to inform decisions and drive measurable results
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (CEFR B1-B2 or higher)
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and maintain a bias for action
