About Us

We are an international, Polish-American company called 300Brains, operating in the area of Information Technology with the aim of supporting international companies, primarily startups, in the implementation of their brilliant ideas.

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join a long-term project for one of our key clients – a global player in the financial trading industry. The role involves shaping the architecture and leading the development of high-performance trading systems or mobile app backends, as part of a Polish engineering team supporting the client’s core operations.

About The Role

You will play a strategic role in designing and implementing a performant and scalable technology stack. This is an opportunity to work on a greenfield project, make key architectural decisions, and lead a team of skilled developers focused on delivering high-quality software for a demanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Define system architecture, tech stack, and development roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end development of high-performance backend systems.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to align technology with business goals.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers.
• Work as part of a Polish team embedded in the client’s long-term technology hub.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 5 years in a Tech Lead role, leading successful development teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Go (Golang).
• Proven track record with high-performance trading systems or large-scale mobile backend architectures.
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of scalable system architecture, clean code principles, and CI/CD best practices.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with or for X-Trade Brokers (XTB) or similar financial institutions.
• Experience in real-time data processing or low-latency environments.
