End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our team in Vienna for a long-term role supporting workplace IT environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in EUC technologies, excellent communication skills in both German and English, and a passion for delivering reliable, user-centric IT support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues for end users.

Perform software installations, updates, and patch management.

Manage user accounts, profiles, and access rights in Active Directory.

Support Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11 environments.

Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and resolutions.

Coordinate with global IT teams and third-party vendors when necessary.

Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and security standards.

Participate in hardware refresh projects, device rollouts, and upgrades.

Required Skills And Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in EUC, desktop support, or IT field services.

Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft 365.

Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and remote support tools.

Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to user support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in German and proficient in English (both verbal and written).

Valid work authorization for Austria.

Nice To Have

Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms (e.g., Intune).

Familiarity with virtualization (Citrix, VMware).

Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, batch scripts).
