FileNet System Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled FileNet System Engineer professional to join our team. In this technical role within the CMS team, the FileNet System Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with the Development team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of application initiatives. This includes enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and providing back-end operational support and maintenance for the entire IBM FileNet P8 solution.

Desired Qualification:

➢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

➢ Certifications: Advanced certifications in IBM FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, or relevant cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) are advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8, including installation, configuration, customization, and support.

• Strong background in enterprise content management (ECM) systems, particularly with IBM FileNet, WebSphere Application Server, and cloud integration.

• Preferred experience with Azure AKS or other container-based installations/support for FileNet.

Role description:

• IBM FileNet Expertise: Extensive experience with multiple versions of IBM FileNet, including Process Engine, Content Engine, and Application Engine.

• System Implementation and Support: Design, implement, and support FileNet ECM systems in on-premises and cloud environments.

• Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance: Set up and manage FileNet P8 environments, troubleshoot issues, and handle vendor escalations.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, manage capacity, and optimize resource usage.

• Operating Systems and Databases: Proficient in Linux, Windows, Oracle, and SQL Server.

• WebSphere Application Server: Experience with WebSphere Application Server versions 8.X and 9.X.

• FileNet APIs and Scripting: Use FileNet APIs and scripting for automation and customization.

• IBM Content Navigator Customization: Customize IBM Content Navigator to meet business needs.

• High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Configure and maintain high-availability setups and disaster recovery plans.

• DevOps and Agile Methodologies: Implement DevOps practices and use Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain system documentation and develop SOPs.
