Cloud & Infrastructure Developer | Golang / AKS / DevOps | Long-term contracting opportunity

Location: Limerick, Ireland (2 days onsite)

A leading global healthcare company with a strong commitment to innovation and technological advancement is seeking a skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Developer to join their dynamic team.

We're seeking a skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Developer to join our team in Limerick. You'll be instrumental in building advanced cloud-native infrastructure, system integrations, and low-code interfaces on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Mendix. Expect a strong focus on scalability, security, and automation.

Your Impact:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure services using Go (Golang).
• Build robust integrations with external systems within a distributed architecture.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools.
• Utilise RabbitMQ (or similar) for asynchronous workflow implementation.
• Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) for cloud environment management.
• Ensure adherence to stringent internal security and quality standards.

What You'll Bring:

• 4–5+ years of professional development experience with strong Golang proficiency (or comparable language with eagerness to learn Go).
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly AKS and related cloud-native services.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Practical experience managing infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, Agile methodologies, and best practices in code quality, documentation, and testing.
