Information Security Officer

Our client is an Iberian investment bank. They’re looking for an Information Security Officer to join their team in Lisbon. In this role, you’ll focus on managing ICT and information security risks, overseeing third-party ICT service providers, conducting operational resilience tests, supporting the Business Continuity Plan, and developing awareness and training programs on information security.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Assessment: Evaluate and report on the maturity of security practices.

• Risk & Vulnerability Management: Analyse risks, propose controls, and oversee the vulnerability management program.

• Threat Intelligence: Assess threats, recommend interventions, and monitor execution.

• Compliance & Resilience: Ensure regulatory compliance, conduct resilience tests, and improve IT risk processes.

• Monitoring & Response: Detect suspicious behaviours, respond to incidents, and prevent recurrence.

• Documentation & Assets: Maintain security documents and classify IT assets' criticality.

• Continuity & Training: Develop Business Continuity Plans, conduct impact analyses, and run awareness campaigns.

• Expert Support: Advise management, implement security controls, and assist with audits.

What You Bring

• Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Networks, or Information Security.

• Work Experience: Experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), including ICT and Security risk management practices, information security principles, and international standards like ISO 27k, NIST, GDPR, and FAIR.

• Independent and Collaborative Work: Ability to work independently while being an effective team player.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Language Proficiency: Native Portuguese; advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken); basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
