We are hiring a CTO/Lead DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience, deep infrastructure expertise, and strong coding skills in Python and Node.js. This is an opportunity to work in a people-focused, tech-driven environment delivering custom-built, intelligent platforms across various sectors. The focus is on automation, cloud-native architecture, and scalable infrastructure.

The role involves collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams, designing secure and reliable infrastructure, and helping scale DevOps practices throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across environments.
• Write production-level code in Python and Node.js to support automation, tooling, and monitoring solutions.
• Architect and manage cloud-native infrastructure (AWS or GCP) using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Implement container orchestration solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Lead DevOps initiatives focused on observability, release engineering, and platform reliability.
• Drive best practices and cross-team collaboration with remote teams across time zones.
• Ensure secure-by-design infrastructure, participating in incident response and remediation.
• Own continuous improvement of deployment, monitoring, and recovery workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, including leadership in distributed environments.
• Proven experience working with global engineering teams.
• Strong coding skills in Python and/or Node.js.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS or GCP, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native security practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in monitoring/logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, especially in remote-first setups.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to service meshes, serverless architectures, or edge deployments.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks like SOC2 or ISO27001.
• Experience mentoring engineers or setting up DevOps practices in early-stage teams.
