DevOps Engineer – FinTech

About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in financial technology to join our dynamic and fast-growing FinTech team. You will be instrumental in building, deploying, automating, and optimizing mission-critical infrastructure and applications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about performance, scalability, security, and seamless development-to-production workflows in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure reliable software releases.
- Implement best practices for system security and compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO27001).
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis to ensure high system availability.
- Support containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Key Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer.
- Proven background in FinTech or working with financial services products.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security practices for cloud environments and DevSecOps principles.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., financial compliance frameworks).
- Certifications in cloud platforms or security (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA).
