Solutions Architect

Our Dublin based client are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join their team on a daily rate contract basis

Ideally they are looking for somebody with a background in Cloud technologies as you will be working on AI related projects

Well known brand name and an excellent contract opportunity

Hybrid working model with two days per week on site

Job Responsibilities

• As the Solution Architect, you will have responsibility for the architecture of solutions that leverage advanced analytics, data pipelines, web portals, statistical models, Machine Learning and AI,
• Operate through a Data and Analytics Services Platform
• Work in project teams with Application Developers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Program Managers
• Focus on the delivery of key solutions for clients and stakeholders
• Engage with the wider team of Solution Architects across Risk, Enterprise Architecture other domains.
• Be a key problem solver and help to drive digitalization

Experience Required

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• A number of years in a technical lead role in application development or architecture
• Experience building and deploying complex applications
• Experience in event-driven cloud-native applications, as well as enterprise solutions
• Experience in Agile/DevOps, consulting with application development teams on same
• Cloud technology, ideally AWS including PaaS services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, Docker, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, SageMaker etc.
• Understanding of distributed application design, patterns, and experience producing design diagrams and documenting standards
• Experience in any modern data stack technologies a significant plus but not essential: Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake, StreamSets etc.
