Mid Level Python Engineer - FastAPI / Kubernetes / Database - UK BASDED ONLY

I am proud to be working in partnership with a brilliant AR / ML scale up who work within the retail sector. Having gone from strength to strength in the over the last few years they are looking to grow out their Engineering team by 2 developers in the next couple of months and further increase this by the end of the year.

Company

The company are industry leaders having developed the first AR / VR / ML application for store planning, marketing, and merchandising. The platform offers a couple of products within the sector from store execution, including customer flow & product engagement, to the generation of a to-scale 3D environment that the product can be placed within. The company are leading the way withing their sector and are now looking to create an industry standardised API for use across the industry.

The company have 3 bases of operations spread across the globe in the US / UK & AUS and have worked with numerous globally recognized brands. Having globally distributed teams since their conception has led to a completely flexible working culture with everyone being fully remote.

Role

They are now looking to hire multiple members within their backend team that is headed by the companies Head of Engineering, this team is currently working on three main projects which is the development of a standardised API, various product scaling projects and the development of new product features. In addition to this the business is constantly onboarding and integrating with new clients which leads to a large portion of the role being integration and deployment led.

As the backend team is still growing you will have the opportunity to take full ownership over projects and will have the opportunity to work closely with all engineer / product teams allowing you to influence all aspects of the projects and products.

Skills

• Python – FastAPI - 3+ years commercial experience
• Experience with open API’s
• Deployment and Integration Experience (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Cloud Experience Desirable

Benefits

On offer is a salary up £50,000 -£80,000 (DOE) the flexibility to work fully remotely with fully flexible working hours and is supported by a strong benefits package
