Are you passionate about cybersecurity at the hardware/software boundary and eager to build resilient embedded systems for critical IoT applications?

We’re hiring on behalf of a leading company focused on secure embedded devices for sectors like smart energy, medical IoT, and critical infrastructure. As a Secure Embedded Systems Engineer, you’ll develop trusted execution environments and implement security-critical firmware for next-generation embedded SoCs.

You’ll collaborate closely with hardware teams to ensure system integrity and protect sensitive data in constrained, real-world environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) using Arm TrustZone, OP-TEE, or Secure Boot

• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ with a strong focus on security for microcontrollers and SoCs

• Perform threat analysis and implement lightweight cryptography for constrained devices

• Collaborate with hardware engineers on secure hardware-software co-design

• Validate and certify systems against security standards such as PSA Certified, Common Criteria, and ISO/IEC 62443

Your Background:

• Proven experience in embedded security engineering for embedded systems

• Familiarity with secure bootloaders, firmware signing, and key management processes

• Understanding of RTOS environments and secure IoT communication protocols (TLS, DTLS, MQTT-SN)

• Hands-on experience with hardware root of trust (RoT) or hardware security modules (HSMs) is a plus

Bonus Points:

• Previous involvement in IoT or critical infrastructure projects

• Knowledge of advanced cryptographic algorithms for embedded platforms

• Experience working in cross-functional teams focusing on security and embedded design
