Whether you’re looking to jump start your career or gain first hands-on experience in a new field, an internship at On offers you a unique growth experience, the chance to make an impact from day 1 and contribute to On’s growth journey. We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

• Duration: 6 months
• Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in EU / Switzerland

Your mission

• Design user-centric concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and final work for development handoff
• Work with brand guidelines and our design system to create layouts that reinforce the brand through its visual touch-points
• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other team members within cross-functional streams to understand project goals and contribute design perspectives
• Contribute to the documentation, maintenance, and refinement of the Design System to ensure consistency and scalability across digital products
• Participate actively in design critiques and feedback sessions to refine work, learn from peers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Learn and apply data-driven approaches, utilising tools like Amplitude, to understand user behaviour and measure the impact of design solutions
• Assist in creating necessary design specifications, assets, and documentation to facilitate efficient handoff to development and content teams for implementation
  
  

Your story

• You enjoy working in a team as well as within teams. A UX designer works with multiple teams and tries their best to consolidate the goals of all parties while thinking about the experience of the user
• You are adept at using digital software. We use figma and stay current with new updates and plugins. We hope you carry a curiosity to learn new tools and enjoy expanding your digital knowledge.
• You are an open communicator, you don't shy away from discussing ideas and are open to critical feedback
