DevOps Engineer – Amsterdam (Hybrid) | Product-led SaaS

This isn’t a DevOps role where you patch things and watch dashboards. It’s one where you build, shape and scale the platform behind a real product, used daily by thousands of people who probably don’t even realise how much depends on your work.

The company is a fast-growing SaaS business based in Amsterdam, building tools that solve real problems for real users. They’re looking for someone who understands what it takes to keep things running when things get busy, who’s not afraid to rethink the way infrastructure is built, and who actually cares about the product as much as the pipelines.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and evolving infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and other cloud tools
• Writing clean, reliable Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Creating deployment pipelines that are fast, safe and a joy to use
• Setting up solid observability, so we know when things break before anyone else does
• Helping the engineering team build systems that scale easily and securely
• Taking initiative, questioning the status quo and improving wherever you can

You’ll probably be a great fit if you

• Already live in the Netherlands and don’t need visa sponsorship (EU citizen or permanent resident)
• Know your way around both AWS and GCP (we use both, and we like options)
• Think in systems, not just services
• Value simplicity and automation, but also know when to just ship it
• Enjoy collaborating with software engineers, not just supporting them
• Want to work somewhere where your ideas actually go live

The setup

It’s a hybrid role. Most of the team are in the office in Amsterdam twice a week and remote the rest of the time. It’s flexible, grown-up, and based on trust. No timesheets, no micromanagement—just good people solving interesting problems together.
