Job Roles & Responsibilities: -

• Design and Deployment of Data Centre switches with Nexus 9K at Leaf and Core layer.
• Design and Implementation of Cloud Proxy and VPN Remote Access solution by Zscaler.
• Handling BAU issues related to Routing/Switching and upgrade of Routers and switches in Data Centre setup as DC/DR and remote sites.
• Managing connectivity of remote sites to the Data Centre
• Implementing changes, handling operational issues and software upgrades on Network Firewalls like, PaloAlto, Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewalls)
• Implementing changes, handling BAU and upgrade of F5 GTM and LTM devices. 
• Assess customer environment and requirements and design world-class solutions, leveraging best practices and best-of-breed technologies
• Performs system integration tasks
• Investigate and provide the RCA for the incidents
• Knowledge of ITSM process

Job Requirements & Skills:-

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience: Over 10 years in network and security engineering.
• Core Technical Skills
• Networking: Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches; experienced with Nexus 9k/7k/5k/3k series, including firmware upgrades and technologies like ACI, OTV, and vPC.
• Routing & Switching: Strong knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, VTP, HSRP, and 802.1x.
• Security: Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Check Point (R65, R75, Gaia R80.20/40), Palo Alto (PAN-OS 8.0/9.0), Cisco ASA/PIX, and FortiGate; skilled in configuring URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles.
• VPNs: Expertise in setting up and managing Point-to-Point, GRE, and SSL VPNs, including Cisco AnyConnect ASA VPN.
• Load Balancing: Experience with F5 LTM, GTM, and APM modules.
• Cloud Security: Familiarity with Zscaler Private Access and Internet Security.
• Monitoring & Analysis: Proficient in using Splunk for log analysis; experienced with packet sniffing tools like Wireshark and platforms like Gigamon.
• Additional Tools: Knowledge of Citrix NetScaler, Cisco WAAS, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco ACS, and Tufin SecureChange/SecureTrack.
