Cyber Security Analyst (DFIR)

Our client, a leading IT firm renowned for its advanced cybersecurity services, specializing in protecting a wide range of tech environments, from networks and servers to applications is looking for a Software Engineer to be part of an exciting team driving the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise products, software services, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in incident response, digital forensics, and threat hunting. They will lead incident handling (triage, containment, recovery), conduct forensic analysis (disk, memory, network), and collaborate with SOC analysts to assess threats. Experience with forensic tools, SIEM, EDR, and threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK is required. The candidate should also have strong skills in scripting (Python, PowerShell), log analysis, and network packet data.

Key skills include a solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and MacOS forensics, knowledge of security protocols (TCP/IP), and the ability to develop custom SIEM rules and detection use cases. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with experience in reporting, compliance (ISO 27001), and creating training materials for SOC teams.
