We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join our client, who are a leading IT solutions organization in Dubai. As the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s technology strategy, whilst also overseeing the design and delivery of software projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of a forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with organizational priorities, focusing on agility, innovation, and scalable growth.
• Provide strategic direction across the design, development, and deployment of digital platforms, intelligent applications, and user-centred systems.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, cloud, smart city platforms) to drive differentiation and expand digital capabilities.
• Guide cross-functional teams through all phases of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, with a focus on optimizing performance and user experience.
• Establish and govern enterprise-wide technology frameworks, standards, and policies in alignment with evolving compliance and operational requirements.
• Oversee strategic initiatives across the project and product portfolio, ensuring prioritization based on business impact, risk, and return.
• Define the technology budget and direct investments in platforms, tools, vendors, and infrastructure to support long-term growth.
• Build and lead high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence through intentional hiring, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to execute technology initiatives that enhance operations and unlock new opportunities.
• Represent the organization in strategic conversations with partners, clients, and institutional entities as needed.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and external dynamics to inform strategic planning and innovation efforts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in technology environments, including 10+ years in senior or executive-level roles.
• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive background in architecting and delivering enterprise-scale platforms, with deep exposure to advanced technologies such as AI and smart city solutions.
• Consistent record of driving innovation, leading digital transformation initiatives, and aligning technical direction with organizational goals.
• Strong financial management capabilities, including oversight of technology budgets, vendor negotiations, and operational efficiency efforts.
• Solid understanding of modern infrastructure environments (e.g., cloud platforms), data governance, and risk mitigation practices.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams, fostering high-performance cultures grounded in innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, data-centric architectures, and complex system design
