The Impact You’ll Make

At Lam, as a Field Process Engineer you are a customer-focused expert on our equipment, pushing the boundaries to meet customer needs. You’re responsible for completing process support, evaluation, and documentation of process outputs for hardware modifications and upgrades. You play a vital role in supporting the customer in installations, training, and identifying design improvements with product groups.

What You’ll Do

• As a Regional Product Support Engineer at Lam, you’re the backbone of technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel in the region.
• Main focus on building product system database, analyzing data to improvement system product productivity and develop application for engineers and product system productivity.
• To be Lam Equipment Intelligence Applications power user to implement on Field.
• Your expertise is crucial in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, or networked and wireless systems.
• Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction of Lam's valued customers.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

• Mathematic or computer science MS/BS with python and data analysis coding experience.
• 5 years semiconductor related experience.
• With Python, R, R-shiny and SQL experience
• Need to take not only domestic but also international travel if needed.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
