Senior DeVops Engineer /SRE

Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Spinnaker to support agile development and continuous delivery.

Manage and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS.

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible to provision and manage cloud environments in AWS.

Ensure observability and monitoring using tools like Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Logstash, and OpenSearch.

Support streaming and messaging systems using Kafka.

Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python and Bash.

Manage both RDBMS and NoSQL databases for application support and performance tuning.

Implement and manage API Gateways and secure integrations between microservices.

Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and support deployment methodologies like Blue-Green and Canary.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure a seamless integration and deployment experience.

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure system uptime and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Spinnaker).

Deep understanding of Kubernetes and EKS for container orchestration.

Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure services.

Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure automation.

Strong knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Logstash, OpenSearch).

Experience with Kafka in a production environment.

Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.

Hands-on experience with relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with API Gateways and microservice architecture.

Experience implementing Blue-Green and Canary deployment strategies.

Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).

Experience in highly regulated or high-availability environments.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
