Senior Data Analyst

We are working with a large plc, based here in Ireland who have had significant growth in recent years. They are looking for an excellent data analyst/business intelligence professional to join their team with a major focus on supporting the finance function of the business.

You will get exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and will drive strategic design and maintenance of reports and applications used for decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate finance business requirements into specifications for data warehouse design and reports, and build out data visualization applications for the business e.g. detailed revenue reports by region.
• Build data models through SQL / Python and use ETL tools to automate and streamline processes.
• Interpret and convert financial terms into data definitions and develop solutions to present back to the business, including implementation.

You will have:

• 4-6 years of experience in a business intelligence or finance BI related role.
• Skilled in SQL for modelling and querying databases.
• An understanding of finance terms and definitions to hold conversations with finance stakeholders
• Tools such as Alteryx & Python with experience in a data vis tool - Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
